Dams for Africa offer a number of consulting services such as :

(1) The spillway of this earth embankment dam has some fundamental design shortcomings, and as a result suffered substantial damage following heavy rains in 2003. (See link 'Dam Inspection Report')

(2) This diversion weir at Fertillis, Limpopo, made from rock-filled wire cages, has several design and construction flaws, and therefore does not fulfil its primary function of diverting water into the canal system. (See link 'Reducing Water Losses at Fertillis')

(3) 17 defunct agricultural schemes in the Limpopo Province were investigated and solutions proposed complete with cost of implementation. In each case the respective communities formed part of the decision making process. (See link 'Revitalisation of Agricultural Schemes')
